Do you like everything modern and up-to-date? Then you might like decorating your apartment in Contemporary style.

Contemporary interiors are very functional and chic. Some time ago they used to be described as harsh, cold and minimalistic. But today this style is appropriate both for stores and homes, making contemporary style homes a quiet and comfortable retreat.

Key features of contemporary interior are clean lines, simplicity and textures. This style focuses mainly on color and shape by showcasing space rather than things. Neutrals, black, and white are the main colors in modern interiors. Black is often used to define a contemporary style room. Neutrals and whites are used mainly for walls and windows. Bold and bright colors are used in various accessories to make accents.

Flowers in contemporary style interiors work best in large arrangements. Don’t use such details as ruffles, fringe or floral prints to make accents in your room. Use fresh fragrant flowers instead!

Flower arrangements with extravagant flowers are often used to balance colors and shapes in contemporary rooms. For example, arrangements with such exotic flowers as Orchids or Anthuriums  can make strong accent on plain backgrounds.  For contemporary interiors it’s better to choose one or two-tone bright flower arrangements instead of colorful and fussy bouquets.

Plants in contemporary interiors are usually large and dramatic in simple containers. Large blooms with interesting leaves work better than small potted ones. If space allows, place upward focusing lights around a large plant on the floor to make the best of it. 54gf3zpx9b
